Bad quality needle seat

I received the kits and the first thing I noticed was that the needle seats were no way close to the OEM seats quality but I did assemble the carbs anyway and they will not seal. The seat is much shorter causing the float tab to be bent so much for the proper float height that they just won’t seal. And just want to add that I am a certified mechanic with 40 years of experience. So after spending another 100 dollars for OEM needle and seat kits and the frustration of pulling the carbs several times trying to get them to seal it was definitely a mistake buying this kit.

Please don’t buy a Borgeson!!!

So I will explain my original steering shaft on my 07 Ram 2500 was bad. So I ordered a Borgeson shaft and the past 6 years I had nothing but problems and I mean more than I could list here. So I bought a Dorman lower shaft which is the problem with the factory shaft along with this upper shaft which is much heavier than the factory. The Dorman lower shaft fixed the weak link in the factory setup.My steering frustration I have been dealing with for the past 6+ years is completely gone. Don’t make the mistake I made please read this message and heed what I said about the Borgeson shaft.
