Shifter re-Boot
At first I thought this would be great way to up date my Porsche. I did not realize that the shift knob and boot are actually ONE piece! The leather of the boot is part of the knob. In order to use this it was necessary to CUT the leather of the original so you could reuse the knob. Also, I did not like that it did not come as pictured. The plastic "frame" at the base of the boot needs to be reused from the original as well. The fit was SO tight that it actually broke mine.
I did like the quality of the materials and the nice yellow stich complemented my car nicely. I used it for a while but in the end I bought another factory boot.
