It's a bargain.
It came in a bumped box. Later i saw that thread on Y axis was damaged a little. With a small biax grinder i fixed that in 20 seconds. When i tightened the spindles and shims, movement was smooth, precise, tight, with minimal backlash. Backlash happens in a spindle nut and can't be adjusted. Backlash is exactly 1/100 of a turn of the spindle wheel. Really, really, small.Tracks are pretty rough milled, but they glide really smooth, and milling marks will confine lubricant inside tracks, because it can't be squeezed out. Wheels are metal, and i like that, but markings are without numbers, and need to be stamped. Also, there is no wheel marking indicator (that sharp arrow) by the wheel markings.
Castings are somewhat pitted, but i suppose that's because the manufacturer relied on close tolerance castings with minimal machining time and therefore that's why this milling table is, we can agree quite low price. My experience in diy milling machine table making, an I made about 15 of them, tells me i can make it more precise, with backlash control, smoother to run, and heavier for this price in raw material only. If I count the cost of the work, It would be much more expensive. I would again buy this table. Pretty nice quality for this amount of money, and it came in nice bright colors. Can't argue with that!
One more thing. If You planned to mill giant things roughly that produce those gigantic chips you saw somewhere on internet, forget it, you need to spend thousands of dollars. But if You need something for your hobby milling, drilling and clamping your workpiece to make cuts and holes, this is a bargain. Congratulations to smart manufacturer who managed to reduce costs and made this affordable to anyone.
