Nice Design

Peals apples well if the cutter is correctly adjusted -- much easier to peal apples than by hand.

Small Defect

Small Defect: One of the pair of knee pad had the strap connector receiver too close to the protective part of the pad and makes it difficult to make the required strap attachment. See the attached photo -- the position of the receiver of the low pad is correct, the upper one (for the right knee) is to close to the protective parts. The pads fit well and are comfortable, but they slip down below my knees after while -- probably will be corrected with some tighter adjustments of the straps that are designed to hold the pads in their proper location.

Poor mounting design -- made from plastic

The mounting shaft of these switches is made of plastic and not durable. I purchased two to replace the old ones of the same design because there were none that I could find that had metal mounting shafts. The original switches failed at the mounting shaft, and I suspect the new ones will, with use, fail, too.
