More gentle that generic heads
I tried the generic heads because they had good reviews and were much cheaper, but returned to these name brand heads because they're more gentle. The generic heads vibrate so strongly that my teeth and gums were taking a beating and becoming very sensitive. Will stick to the brand name heads from now on.

Sturdy
Sturdier than other rasps and the attached cover slides to protect the working end..

Good for travel and camping
These are very sharp out of the packaging but the handle isn't as comfortable as the more expensive version. Have been moving around a lot and accidentally threw away two nice knives recently so these will do until I'm settled again.
