Gifted DVD review
This film is absolutely amazing, it’s so heartwarming and touching and even funny in places. Chris Evans who is best known for playing Captain America shows he can act in so much more than just in superhero films, he nails the role of the girl Mary’s uncle Frank. The girl playing Mary is just as much of a delight to watch too, seeing her get sassy about having to sit through unchallenging school classes in the beginning, to singing along with her friendly neighbour and to the final scene which I won’t give away for those who haven’t seen it. It’s a stunning film which I will gladly watch again and again when I don’t fancy watching something with OTT action or with adult humour. The DVD itself was fine, it didn’t arrive brand new in its shrink wrap but the disc didn’t have any scratches and played fine, it has some special features which I haven’t watched yet but will give a try soon, and it arrived very quickly too. I absolutely highly recommend this film and item to anyone.
