All of the Gottschalk classics in one solid volume!

This is a superb volume of Gottschalk classics. The print is big and clear on very durable paper. I love it. This volume will not be collecting dust on my bookshelf. This volume will frequently be on the piano sheet music stand.

Just like anything else, you get back what you put in.

I'm just getting into this book but from I have seen it contains a lot of very useful ideas for piano improvisation. The main challenge will be memorizing the recommended patterns all of the keys and then finding suitable places in your pieces to insert the patterns to bring your improvisations to life. Extreme work is involved and it will definitely take months to work through this book but the key is to not think about it. Just DO it! From what I've seen so far I believe there will be terrific benefits from including this study into your daily digest at your instrument.
