Classic 60s Adventure
This is one of those classic 1960s movies that you could watch on Saturday afternoon television. Typical of movies adapted from book during this period, it isn’t a close adaption but fun nonetheless. Many cast members are Hammer Films regulars, Lee, Cushing, Morell, with a fun performance from Bernard Cribbins. The image quality is okay, not the best transfer, but there did seem to be a slight lip-sync problem in parts perhaps due to post studio dubbing. It isn’t always easy to pick up this movie on High Street even those most of the other Hammer Collection series can be picked up easily.

TV to Big Screen 70s comedy.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I thought I was getting a second hand copy but it was brand new still shrink wrapped. A good quality DVD transfer. Classic 70s TV series adapted to the movie screen. An enjoyable romp for a Sunday afternoon, just don’t expect an Oscar winner.
