OEM quality at big saving
This appears identical to my now 6 year old charger that came with my MacBook Pro. It is good quality and I have used it regularly and can confirm that it does not heat up any more than the Apple one either at the transformer or at the Magsafe connector.
For a proper OEM charger it is reasonably priced, just over half what Apple themselves charge. You don't get the extension lead that comes as standard with the Apple one, but the original lead I have works perfectly with this new charger.
All in all a great buy.
