Perfect close voice mic!
Brilliant mic; updated version of the classic RE 20 (..as seen in 'Frasier' and innumerable US radio stations..) with slightly 'sharper' and clearer hi-frequency response, due to stronger neodymium magnet inside. This is a 'dynamic' - or 'moving coil' - mic, so doesn't need any external 'phantom' or battery power, and can be plugged straight into any mixer or recording device using a standard 3-pin XLR connection on the bottom.
It's -H-E-A-V-Y- so preferably needs to be supported by a spider-web 'hands-free' mic stand, as it'll pick up handling noise if touched or fondled.
Excellent 'end-on' (cardioid) response, with little or no pickup from sides or rear, so it gives an 'intimate' sound as you speak, or sing, straight into it ..or makes a great directional music mic.
Great sensitivity - with no fizzy background 'noise' - so delivers absolute silence (no hum, no 'fizz') if you're not speaking into it.
Very, very highly recommended: sounds almost like an AKG 202, but with a little less bass, and slightly more 'top'. Also has a discreetly-hidden 'bass roll-off' switch, to lighten the bass a bit if you want.

Excellent old rangefinder Contax (1931-1961) to E / FE mount manual-focus adaptor!
Beautifully lathe-turned, solid metal, perfect-fit adaptor, to mount old-style Contax and Nikon-S rangefinder lenses (not Contax -G) onto a modern Sony NEX or A7 / A9 'E' or 'FE' full-frame camera.
(That doesn't mean that an old style 21mm will be sharp to the edges on a Sony A7 / A9 sensor, as the oblique angle edge rays will be somewhat smeared by the sensor's cover glass, etc.)
Perfect for 50mm f1.5 and telephoto Contax / Nikon old rangefinder lenses which provide light straight-on and perpendicular to the sensor!
Extremely well manufactured and finished - and works both with old Contax and old Nikkor lenses when focusing through a modern electronic viewfinder or rear screen ..so it doesn't matter that the Contax and Nikkor screw pitches were slightly different. Has both inner and outer bayonet connectors for ALL those old r/f lenses, and similar Russian (Kiev / Jupiter bayonet) Contax copies. Treat yourself - perfect gift for using older Contax, Nikon, Kiev r/f lenses on your modern digital camera!
