So Much for so Little
If you think these condenser microphones are going to be borderline, then think again. The Behringer C-4 are brilliant and give a clear and sharp stereo image when used with a decent mixer or dedicated preamp.
These mics do however need a phantom power supply, so will not work straight into a low Z input as there is no internal battery. Most equipment these days has a +48v phantom option, so shouldn't bother most of us. All in all I've been very pleased with the performance, they even come with a stereo mount.

Active Tone Control
It works well but the instructions that come with it are non existent. The problem I had was there are no clues where the pickups wires connect to the circuit. For anyone who want to know here is the answer to the connect issue.
There is one of the pots that is a twin ganged potentiometer and as I discovered is a 'Blend@ control. Think of it as a pan pot between the neck and bridge pickup. connect the hot wire from each pickup to the center pins on the pot and the screen to the body of the pot.
