Slight modification but works so far
There's a plastic strip that runs the length of the filter. That strip would not let the filter fit inside the housing that surrounds it, so I had to modify the housing to make it work; I don't like modifying anything from its original state, but I did with this. It's only snipping a very small triangular cutout in the housing. Other than that, so far so good
