Terrific Value
7 von 7 finden das hilfreich I plan to use this lens for shooting large birds in flight, Eagles, etc. I just started using the lens and already can tell the picture quality good. Based on my little sample size, I believe it pairs better with my D500 than my Tamron 150-600 G2. I was a little worried about AF speed before the purchase, but I'm quite pleased with it. I also have the Nikkor AF-S 80-400 which I feel is faster than the 200-500, but not by much. I love the extra reach with the 200-500. And, of course the price was much better. Oh yeah, very pleased with how the AF locks on to the subject even as it moves through tree branches. See pic 2.

Great lens!
This lens is built very solid. It is a big improvement over the G1 version which I previously owned.
