Saturday Night Clive

I have followed Iain Matthews' Plainsong "Super Group" for many a year and loved it when Clive joined the band and offered a new depth to the harmonies and his solos... So finally I got around to buying a solo album - and a great choice! A lovely intimate album - acoustic and warm... Matching the 1 live gig I got to see... Thoroughly recommended introduction to an understated national treasure... A great addition to my Saturday evening CD's - winding down with an easy on the ear album, painting my landscapes and sipping a smooth red... (No I don't make the mistake of dipping the brush in the wine instead of the water...!) A thoroughly enjoyable album.

Sounding strangely familiar!
