Genuine
I picked this as it looked identical to the original. It is identical to the original for my Auris hybrid estate. Arrived quickly I did consider buying one of the cheaper compatibles but decided on this one after reading a few reports of them being not robust. Anyway in and working now. Just wished it was a little cheaper.

Great fan
Used to replace one in a New world double oven. Same Spec. It worked great and was as the original.

Excellent so far
I actually am moving over to LED lamps as a rule but my daughter moved in to a rental property and had some central up light fittings which are very tight on space and these spirals fitted in where as an equivalent LED bulb would not. They fitted in just and were bright enough in the hall way. At the same time I ordered two 20 watts of the same type. These gave much more light off and fitted in similar uplighters in the bedrooms which were excellent to. The 15 watts I would say were equivalent to 60 watts and the 20 watts equivalent to 100 watts. Obviously there is a little lag in the full brightness but at turn on it is acceptable and they soon warm up. I still prefer the LED equivalents which are more efficient and instant full brightness and I expect will last longer but still where space is a premium there is still room for these compact designed fluorescents. Certainly over the old type lamps there is no comparison in energy consumption. Having quite a wide experience of energy efficiency lamps now I would say it is worth buying a good quality lamp as some of the cheaper ones will not last. I have some of the first Philips compact florescent lamps and they are still going strong after at least five years. So fingers crossed.
