Cheaply made, would be easy to defeat
This lock does allow the user to change the code, but that's accomplished by removing and then rearranging the plastic ring that contains the numbers. If someone were to melt the plastic rings they'd have no problems "picking" the lock. Also, the lock has a good amount of plastic and doesn't feel heavy duty. Then again, the lock was under $6.

Fits my fridge, and makes tap water taste better.
I have absolutely no way of telling how well this does as a filter since I don't have a chemistry lab at my disposal, but tap water tastes much better after passing through this filter.

This is a perfect tool.
Rarely do you find an aftermarket tool for less money that does a better job. This is one of those tools.
