Blue Sea ST 5046 8 way ST blade compact fuse distribution box block camper van

A good quality component - expensive but well worth the money.

This product is expensive, but it is very well made and I have not seen any other similar product that has the same combination of features that exactly matches my requirements. An alternative would be a separate 'busbar' and fuse box; costing more, making installation more difficult and taking up more space. I therefore believe that it is good value for money and - I would buy the 'Blue Sea ST 5046 8 way ST Blade Compact Fuse Distribution Box' again for future projects.

Does the job

I purchased the Draper 68154 Heavy duty Cable cutter to cut stainless steel braided reinforced automotive oil and fuel hose, it does the job efficiently, leaving a nice clean cut ready to accept the hose ends. I have only used it on hose up to 16mm diameter to date. I don't know the maximum size that can be cut. There are similar tools available that look the same and which are considerably more expensive, I don't believe that they could do the job any better. I've not had the tool long so I can't comment on the durability but so far it has not shown any problems. In common with similar designs the long handles make it a bit cumbersome to use but with the correct vice jaws to hold the pipe securely it is not a problem.

I wanted a short ring spanner to perform a specific function. This tool is well made and does the job to perfection - a good buy.
