Great overhead or wall heater for for small to med enclosed spaces.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I hung this from my garage ceiling over my work bench and dogs' beds. It's simple, light, and easy to mount. Has 3 output options: 1) light only, 2) light + 1 element, or 3) light + both elements. Output is silent, soft steady heat, not fan-blown. The pull cord is very handy- the heater takes up no floor space, but can easily be turned on from the ground with 8'-9' ceilings (you can add to the cord for x-high ceilings).
I would recommend this if you are looking to quietly heat a smaller area like a workshop or shed, or to simplly add heat to one section of a larger area (about 200sqrft). It's perfect for adding some heat over my workbench area, but isn't powerful enough to heat my entire garage quickly. I would recommend buying 2 for a 2-car garage(400sqrft) or 3 for a 3-car (600sqrft) for example.
Additionally, I would not recommend this as a source of radiant heat for outdoor areas like patios. It doesn't offer that kind of output and isn't meant for it.

Great belt with or without firearm carry
I bought this specifically because I hate weak flimsy belts, and because I carry a firearm most of the time. A gun belt needs to be able to carrry the load without folding or buckling, and I need to be able to put a lot of stress on the buckle. I also want it to look like a normal casual belt, not some military or police uniform look. After a few weeks of wearing it with and without a firearm I can attest that it fits the bill very nicely. It's surprisingly stiff for how thin it is as well. The 1.5" width is plenty stout and wide, and still fits all the belt loops and holster clips I've worn it with.

Excellent camp knife, chopper, large bushcraft
The BK9 and BK39 are well reviewed, tried and true examples of a high value rough use knife. Feels surprisingly light and agile in hand for the size. Great grind and geometry to plow through feather sticks, branches, and battoning- better than other 3/16" knives I've handled. Handle shape really works to secure grip when chopping. Chops very well- takes large bites. Tip is plenty strong yet ground to penetrate well when needed. Not a typical self-defense knife size, but would serve well if called upon. Ballistic nylon sheath is molly friendly, holds pretty tight, and works very well for a factory sheath- can't complain at this price point, and if you want custom Kydex you're going to pay for it. Great company and warranty behind this knife.
Cons: Not really a need for the thumb ramp on this knife, but not really in the way either. Spine and exposed tang are rounded off, so no 90 degree spot to really scrape up tinder dust or strike a ferro rod. Since I'm beating the crud out of this knife anyway, I'll be grinding a flat striker spot on the spine in front of the ramp and touching it up with liquid bluing. You should have a small backup blade with you anyway, but if you want the "one tool option", then grind a flat spot in for your striking/scraping needs.
Performs very well- don't hesitate. I would buy it again.
