Charges the Vita but not the Vita portable battery backup.
This cable will not charge the Vita portable battery backup. The portable battery will just blink rapidly and not charge.

Perfect fit for NEO-GEO AES arcade stick!
I bought this to test if I could find a cheap replacement for my NEO-GEO AES arcade stick ball top. It fits perfectly and feels fine. I'm not very picky about things so you won't find ne complaining if it is a nanometer long or short or some ridiculous thing millennials complain about.
It fits and works, it's cheap as well which is nice. I bought multiple colors too. This also is supposed to fit arcade1up cabinets. Buy away and have fun!

Great solder for retro gaming maintenance and repairs
I used this for the first time, unsure of how well it would perform. It worked flawlessly on my repairs to my Harvest Moon 64. I replaced the battery, 8 pin chip and the SRAM chip on the cartridge circuit board and only had to use flux when desoldering.
I'd recommend this. Even though it is cheap, it worked great for me.
