Fawlty Towers Starring John Cleese 3-Disc Used DVD Set

A lot of fun at the Towers

Fawlty Towers is classic British comedy series starring the legendary John Cleese. Not that many episodes were produced. However, the quality of the humor, acting and writing is of the highest quality. It is one of my top five favorite television comedies of all time.

Adventurous journey with an immortal

The Highlander Complete Collection enables the viewer to accompany the journey taken by the immortal Duncan MacLeod as he and his companions face many perils throughout time. The series takes place in modern times but has many flashbacks about previous adventures. The series is well acted and very enjoyable, but does contain violence. Although not graphic, the enemy immortals can only be vanquished by being beheaded. If one is fine with this plot device, this series is very entertaining.

Entertaining romp through the underworld

This triple feature DVD has a lot of entertainment value. Even though they are of the horror genre, the movies can be considered largely action-adventure as well. So even with the frightful moments, one is taken on enjoyable escapist ride through the underworld.
