Old AA battery left in compartment leaki...
Old AA battery left in compartment leaking acid and corroding so I guess will see off it works and can be cleaned up. Careless.

Not all its cracked up to be
Very difficult to install and configure. Existing videos help, but there are not many and ICOM's video is outdated and very narrow in scope. Once you comprehend the configurations (you have to tweak multiple settings menus) and get it all working, you realize it is incompatible with your Ham Radio Deluxe logger. Clunky, outdated, very overpriced user unfriendly software. Only for advanced operators. Once you get it lurching and groaning along, you realize you just busted your ass to figure out the configs only to lose 1 cable and your trusty logger. So all in all it works but Id probably avoid if I could do over. 73!
