Heavyweight and wise
Written by a scholar for scholars on a post-graduate level, Pennington leaves no stone unturned without getting bogged down by the minutiae. By insisting that the canonical Gospels be approached from historical, literary, and theological avenues, Pennington provides a comprehensive proposal to derive the meaning of the central message of the gospel (112). Hoping that lives will be transformed and readers will become disciples and followers of Jesus Christ, Pennington's book achieves its objective. The book is a goldmine of scholarship, with valuable nuggets on every page.

Lightest, powerful plug 'n play amp on the market
I have plenty of bass gear & I was reluctant to buy this combo amp, thinking that a 37 pound amp could not compare in sound with the "big boys". The tone from this "very portable" amp is truly amazing. The clarity is perfectly balanced in the mix with a hard-hitting drummer & a 4-12 Marshall stack guitarist. My ideal tone had both gain & master at noon, boost at nine o'clock and tone almost flat, rolling off the high & high-mids slightly, with limiter on, horn & contour off. It has the punch of 10's & the bottom of a 15 in an easy to carry, lightweight, powerful package. If you're playing to a crowd of under a thousand, this amp will work better than just fine. It can also fit in the front passenger seat of most vehicles. Did I mention that it is super light? I have no intention of getting rid of my Epifani UL410, Acme LowB4, David Eden D410XLT or BagEnd S15BD, however, the GK MB212 has now become my main "go to" amp for any situation.
