Wonder Wallet Thiughts

This wallet does live up to its advertising....it is slim and takes many more cards than most wallets. It's taking a bit of getting used to, though, and getting out my ATM and shopping cards takes a bit more effort. But that's because they are held more securely. I only put one card per pocket but it will take two, giving a lot of capacity. Doubling up will make the wallet thicker though, so if you're putting it in your hip pocket as I do, it's not that much slimmer. But who needs to carry 24 cards anyway? The pocket for cash is rather large, so be sure to insert your cash all the way. One thing I think is missing: there is no pocket for any items larger than a credit card such as my car registration and my Medicare cards. They will fit in the cash pocket but once again, that is so large that it takes a bit of stuffing to make the larger cards secure. I got mine for $5 shipped here on eBay and that's a bargain. I think it's worth it.

A Handy Way to Revive Your Vita-Mix

For a few dollars and a half hour of work, my Vita-Mix now has variable speed again. All it takes is a little skill with wire clippers, a screwdriver and a soldering iron. In a pinch, even the soldering iron isn't needed. This item is an OEM replacement part that fits perfectly. I was pleased that I didn't have to spend $200 or more to replace the motor base, and that's for a used one. I highly recommend this replacement switch for anyone with a little repair skill, or who has a friend who does.
