Fantastic survival horror - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED even if you're not a Resident Evil fan!
For any horror fans that enjoyed playing the Outlast games - this is definitely one of my favourites. I have never played any previous Resident Evil games but that doesn't matter because this game has its own setting and story with a few Easter eggs to prior titles for long term fans.
The graphics and sound design are amazing and honestly blew me away from the opening cutscene shots - character animations look great too.
The gameplay is more action orientated than Outlast as you have weapons but there are still puzzle segments and ample exploration of the house to do.
The story is fantastic too - if you like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Saw films then you will love it! This game's story takes inspiration from both franchises and comes to a satisfying conclusion.
I honestly couldn't recommend this game enough; I was tempted to not play it because I hadn't played the other games in the series but PLEASE DO PLAY IT and show the developers that we want more survival horror games like this one!

Unwatchable - Disc keeps skipping
I started watching the first episode, it seemed fine at first then started skipping through certain moments and missing out while sketches.
The disc also started whirring loudly in my PS4 Pro which made me worry that it was damaging my console so I took it out straight away and haven’t tried it since.
Needless to say that I was disappointed overall.
