I prefer the base material and construct...
I prefer the base material and construction of this LED lamp verses the plastic base lamps with wire contacts. These fit nicely in the twist lock adapter bases used in automotive gauge clusters without causing them to bulge like other lamps I've tried.

It's no match for large Honey Crisp apples!
The first sign of trouble was the blade section began to separate itself from the handle / body section. It worked a few more days then it failed completely when the welds holding the blades together broke and the blades flew in mutiple directions - that was exciting!
