Good upgrade choice

Had an older Dell C840 laptop with the original 4400 rpm drive. This 7200 rpm drive made the laptop about twice as fast in normal usage. The benchmarks I ran comparing it to the original 4400 rpm drive also indicated at least a two fold increase in performance.

Good bang for the buck.

This model of the StarTech USB/eSATA enclosures is not quite as fast as the newer model(S251SMU33EP), but it works on all of my computers. The newer model sometimes locks up two of my computers when used as a boot drive.
