heavy and slow
0 von 9 finden das hilfreich outdated these days, very heavy, and a bit of a pain to carry about, ok for sports but my advice stay well away from this lens. I get better results from my old canon 55/250 and much lighter ok not as fast a lens but good sharp shots,

Versatile, sharp lens much lighter than the 2.8 version.
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich Been around now for 20 years but still look as modern as ever, I have the one without the IS but as long as you stay about 400 shutter speed you will be fine, great glass very sharp images, use mine for wildlife as I walk around the woods , river and lanes etc, some sample pics May 2020 you can pick up for a great price these days, not worth paying that extrea for the IS version, or the heavier 2.8
