Granddaughter’s delight.
My wife has had this book for several years and references it constantly. When one of our granddaughters visited us a few weeks back she was always asking to see granny’s black book. It took a while but we sussed it out. Our granddaughter was looking up this book a lot during her stay. Questions galore. She was so enthusiastic with this book that I decided to get one for her. When it arrived at her house a few days later she was over the moon.

Very neat tuner.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich As a violin novice I needed a tuner to ensure that when I do play bum notes they are at least in tune.
This tuner clips on to the violin and is very unobtrusive. II leave it clipped on and it does not get in the way. I recommend it especially for beginners like myself.

Nice case. But
This is a nice case, but it could be designed a bit better.
It is large but I had to cut a bit out of the case to let my fiddle fit in. Bang goes the warranty. Although it is a large case my shoulder rest does not fit inside unless I take it to bits. The rest has to sit in an outside pocket.
My previous case which houses my beginners fiddle fitted perfectly and the shoulder rest fits inside in the inner compartment, where it should be, without it being taken apart.
The large accessory compartment should be cut at an angle thereby letting the shoulder rest fit.
As I previously said it is a nice case. Looks nice, but it needs a bit of tweaking by a violinist to be a wonderful case. Perhaps the Mk2 version will be better thought out.
