Small and unassuming

This lens, while old, is suitable for FX Nikon cameras. Fast f/2.0 lens gives soft, shallow depth of field. Good performer for what is now a budget priced lens, but only on bodies with the motor built into them (this is screwdrive only). I have found the to work really well on my D700 without the grip, as it becomes a small, walkabout package.
