It will be good when I get it, I'm sure. It has a disaster scene that is unforgettable.
I haven't received it!! I've been watching for it. Dael Klippenstein

Good!
I was only interested in the Buster Crabbe serials and threw out the others. I think that there may be a serial or two that were lossed.. There was one in which cave (mud) men came out of the walls of the cave. Perhaps another one, too, involving a "black sapphire."
Universal was not keen on saving its negatives, so some may have turned to powder, as some negatives did. Nitrates didn't last very well. MGM, by contrast, took very good care of its negatives, and Ted Turner was very smart to buy them all up for his project, TCM.

Don't add anything that is not necessary, especially to a foreign (us) audience.
It was titled OK, but then, next to it , the word (seppuku) was also mentioned. Japanese and Japanese Americans would already know the word. Most of the rest of Americans would not know nor care anyway. "Hara Kiri" alone would be enough. You should semply advertise "Hara Kiri." That's sufficient. Then, advertise the other film just "seppuki." That's enought. Then there's no mixup or trying to figure out what you are doing. I threw my copy of "Hara Kiri" away. I was/am only interested in the film, a great classic, "seppuku."
Cordially, Dael Klippenstein
