The Anglo Saxon Chronicle
A really interesting and valuable account of some major events in that period of history. As well as relevant and readable explanations of those times the book is beautifully illustrated.
An interesting addition for me would be provision of original place names as well as their modern version and maybe a guide to pronunciation.

Great language support
Well set out and very informative - I do German on Duolingo and have to pick up the grammar by practise and making a lot of mistakes. I can use this book to actually understand why I keep getting things wrong. Really pleased!
