Excellent solution
These bike Tiedowns are the perfect solution for putting three bikes in my trailer. My only negative is that the through bolts are too short to go through a 1 1/2" trailer bed, but most people don't have such a substantial bed in their trailer. Easy fix! Love them!

Ok but...
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich First, the hitch hauler works now but I had to make some changes. If you try to follow the instruction you are going to be frustrated. I was missing half of the fender washers so I ran to a tractor supply and bought 1/2” fender washers based on the parts list. Well, the bolts were metric. 1/2” didn’t fit over the shoulder (unthreaded part of the bolt). Then I took a bolt and bought washers that fit. When I got it together following the instructions, where you put 4 fender washers on each bolt, the nylon in the locknut did not make contact with the threads of the bolt. Long story short: buy 4 grade (8) 1/2”x4” bolts, (16) fender washers and (4) 1/2” lock nuts for ~$8 and you will be all set. The bolts can’t be so tight that it doesn’t allow the parts to move and without locknuts you will be creating a huge safety hazard behind your vehicle. Finally, when you mount the bottle jack and go to use it, then realize that it doesn’t go up far enough to put the safety bolt in, don’t panic. The threaded adjustment on top of the bottle jack needs to be out 1/2” or so.
The one negative with this style vs the toll up and strap on style is that with this hauler on the vehicle you can not open the tailgate/hatch of your vehicle. I have a Suburban and the top of the hauler hits the door no matter what position the hauler is in.
