It reminds me of my own Brooklyn up ringing and my place in the Brooklyn culture of baseballAI tip of the hat to all of those that grew up in a dysfunctional immigrant family. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you. I know exactly what Joe is talking about. In spite of all this I remember Joe Pepitone as a marquee Yankee player who was destined for the Hall of Fame, Who probably got in his own way a lot due to external influences. A compelling read. Five stars. God bless you Joe!
