Fair price for an av receiver

Annoying that in bluetooth standby mode it incessantly blinks blue on startup and reconnects with your device. I'd prefer to choose on my device whether to connect before it does, guess my iPhone can't do that... this might be a complaint for my iPhone as much as a complaint about the receiver. I wish it would ask me if I wanted to connect to my iPhone at least, even if it can. I just keep bluetooth off on my phone so its not a huge deal. However, in bluetooth standby mode, which is supposed to be convenient, if I have other devices I want to connect my iPhone to via bluetooth, once I turn bluetooth on on my phone, my receiver has to turn on and blink, and won't turn off until I shut it off or pair it with my iPhone. Functions are fine, have it connected to Atrium 4 Outdoor speakers in my garage through the wall. They are new to me too so I haven't used them with other receivers but they get loud... sound fairly good with the speakers considering their price was relatively low. Quality? Not great, but good enough for me. I'd probably need to spend 3 times the price for a better sounding system notwithstanding a premium for surround sound.
