Unexpectedly efficient
Most of that chineese mini-pumps (i own 3 different kinds) are not up to declared specs.
This one is a good exception. It is really able to achieve 80kPa negative pressure.
A little drawback is that it generates substantial vibration, so it should be mounted on dampening pad. But it's a price that you have to pay for real -80kPa and I'm satisfied with that device.
if you need a mini pump with good suction for vacuum filtering - it's chip and efficient device for that.

Very handy for steam distillers
Very handy piece of glass. Makes steam distillation as easy as soxhlet makex solid extraction.
The continuous separation and disposal of water is a way more convenient then gathering all the liquid for later separation.
