Bareilles, Sara - Little Voice (2-CD Set)
I heard Sara for the first time on Jay Leno and was memorized by her heart felt Gravity. I immediately went to eBay to purchase Little Voice as was shown on The Tonight Show. I then looked for DVDs and Blu Rays and found the DVD of her music concert. I purchased the DVD first. In terms of the CD it was great, her music is outstanding in all aspects. I feel she picks up where Sheryl Crow left of in terms of Sheryls previous album Wild Flower. Don't get me wrong Sara is an artist in our right, it is her words and intelligence that make her songs and make our album standout from the rest. The bonus CD of Little Voice was great because if provides alternate versions of some of her best works on Little Voice. Gravity is especially moving on the bonus CD because it is solo, just Sara and a piano. You sit and listen to the music and feel as though you are going through your breakup all over again. I played the CD for the first time three times and all of three times I cried. I also purchased the DVD concert. Gravity on that concert DVD and bonus concert CD is just as moving. I hope Sara continues to inspire us with future albums. If you love great music, this is it. It is even more special on a hi-fi system because it places you there in the room with Sara and her band. I am going back to eBay to get the Blu Ray version as well. - Dan

Barbra Streisand - One Voice Concert DVD
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Excellent concert, I choose this DVD over the LaserDisc version because it was more flexible to play in many devices. I've never heard or read any reviews about this Concert. It was outstanding. You get a chance to see the many celebraties in their prime. Robin Williams opened the show, the late Mayor Tom Bradley attended, the late great Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones, Henry Winkler and many others. And the concert, given it was in an open park like environment was exceptional. I am a fan of some of Barbra's hits but after viewing this concert I am a new and better fan. Barry Gibb helped make this purchase worth while. Both Barry and Barbra are great together. Her backup band was excellent. It is outstanding in 5.1 Dolby Digital. Barbra is a true star, well spoken and sexy. Get this while you can, it is timeless and a keepsake.

Elvis DVD Audio Disc
I was uniquely surprised to find many of Elvis hits on this DVD Audio we’re separated very well like Suspicious Minds, where you could only hear the background singers and on other tracks the separation of the orchestra. Sadly not one of the 6 channel tracks had Elvis in the Center Channel by himself like you’d expect from surround sound, Unlike Billy Joel or Elton John where you almost always hear them on a solo Center Channel for DVD Audio or SACD. “In the Ghetto” was separated very well you can feel the emotions as Elvis sings. This DVD Audio disc includes some rare stereo demos. The whole world is going to digital downloads, collect these discs while you can as you hold a master copy no longer available in the future.
