Good action and great acting.
A complicated plotto explain, but the action is great. Denzel Washington is great in this role.
After a good friend is murdered the Equalizer comes out of hiding to avenge her death.
Old colleagues in the secret service department he was originally in all thought him dead. Among them are enemies who he must fight off. Great.

Entertaining and wonderful songs.
I always love the work of Bette Midler and as always she does a great job. It is a great production and I prefer it to the Rosalind Russell movie, though that is excellent also.
