Genuine Bomba

Here in the upper mid-west, it is impossible to find any stores carrying Bomba. Long Grain, yes; Jasmine, yes; Bomba, NO. With this Sivaris Bomba, you get the real deal. Real, PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) Bomba Rice. This absorbs liquid 3:1, does not get sticky thanks to a high amylose content, and does not burst from the absorption. Pearly white & short grained, this Bomba holds up fantastic, even when cooking over an open flame or a grill. My last Paella I used 1-1/3 cups Bomba & 50 ounces of Chicken Broth. After simmering on the charcoal grill for over an hour the rice was still perfect, each grain still separate & delightfully delicious. If you cook Paella, you NEED this rice. It really IS that much better!
