I was guided.
The Guardian was touching, funny, sad and informative.
The performances were convincing and were excellent in conveying a message of sacrifice and unity.
I also learned about rescue swimmers and the gruelling methods they have to undertake before qualifying. I have a true appreciation for those men and women who would come after me if I was lost at sea.
The Guardian gave me a sense of pride in the human spirit, and that it lives on regardless, of what is going on the world.
