Very useful device
Extremely useful allowing instant switching on and off of two or three devices without having to remove plugs.

Very useful for controlling awkward to get at sockets
It does the job and is compatible with the remote controller that I have for other Energenie socket controllers.

Unfortunate malfunction
It was malfunctioning (continuing to boil for up to four minutes after reaching boiling point) so I sent it back for a refund. I have had an older version of this pot for several years and it has been well worth the money. Unfortunately this model seems to be in short supply at the moment so will have to wait to see if they come back on the market later.
