Extra exciting!!!
I was so elated to receive this book for such a price, especially with all the proceeds going to charity. The product arrived a day early and the packing was done tremendously well. No damage during shipping whatsoever.
This book is so extensive,I'm looking into selling or passing down all my other crystal books. What I love most about this author is that she's very honest about which cultural groups she derives information about each mineral from. She names the groups or tribes who traditionally used each one specifically. The color pictures are fantastic. There is also a preface in the front portion of the book that goes over ways stones are used, cleansed, applied, etc.
You won't be carrying this 10 pound tyrannosaur around, its definitely a reference book to use at home or in the study, but for a serious practitioner of applications of stones and crystals; NO OTHER BOOk beats this one!
