Perfection
Just feels right in my hand. Grip shape, weight and balance perfect for me, I know from 20+ years experience with an estwing hammer that the leather grip is hands down the best out there providing you look after it.
This is the older model with the thin steel washer at the base of the handle I tried a newer version estwing with the thicker washer and in my opinion they are not as comfortable to hold, which is why I searched this one out.

high quality little mitre saw
Expensive for what it is and has a very limited cut capacity.
Wins on portability and size. it's so quick and easy to take from room to room with you, it's easy to use and produces a very fine cut with the supplied blade. Lasts a good while on one 18v 5 amp battery and the dust bag helps collect a surprising amount of the sawdust produced.
If your fed up with carrying round a masive heavy mitre saw and trying to fit it into the van somewhere.. and you do a lot of smaller skirting/architrave and 3" x 2" cls studwork this saw is champion.

Robust and compact sawhorse solution
These are very strong, well made and easy to use once assembled. First week and I have already used them to carry a load of roofing timber and a large steel beam, I have no doubt they would carry two stacks of plywood as they show in the literature. I like that they are reasonably compact and take up little space in the van compared to a traditional set of wooden horses. I bought this shorter set as I already have some similar taller ones, I find the taller ones good for putting a board on and creating a temporary workbench, the shorter ones are good for large stacks of timber like when loading out for a cut roof but are also better sized for use like a traditional sawhorse when you hold the timber with your knee whilst cutting with a hand saw. Overall I’m pleased with my purchase and imagine I’ll be passing these on to someone else when I’m done with working! My only criticism would be that they are quite pricy especially if your importing them and also the leg brace extends past horizontal when pressed upon with your foot as the instructions suggest.
