Good quality, but stated size is a little misleading
Ordered to weld to a Magnaflow universal catalytic converter with 2.5" inlet/outlet, to connect to a 2.5" outlet header for a B series Honda engine. The "inlet" side flares out large enough to fit over and seal to the 2.5" donut gasket on the header just fine, however it's "outlet" side (which is to be welded to the cat, in my case) is NOT 2.5" but rather 2.25" O.D. (outside diameter.) This might not matter to some, and probably would lead to little more than an academic difference in exhaust flow/power, but for those like myself looking to build a true 2.5" system from the header to the exhaust tip, it's a bit discouraging. The flange can be modified to work as a true non-restrictive 2.5" part, using the consumer's choice of several methods, but it WILL need modification to achieve this. This is no fault of the seller(s), but solely the fault of Blackworks Racing's chosen method of sizing/description. Otherwise, it's a relatively simple part, seems sturdy enough for what it is, and it's stainless, so it remains a good value, and I would recommend it, but only with the caveat that it needs the above modifications.
