Works well with very low SWRs

You need to be carefully when and where you mount the antenna as the inside mount has a small inside antenna and I did not take that into consideration when I installed the antenna. It needs to be mounted horizontal (90 degrees to the outside mounted antenna) and I did not leave enough room for the small inside antenna. I ended up straightening out that antenna to make it work. I was worried that would negatively affect my SWRs, but it did not. The antenna works great with a SWR reading between 1.1 to 1.3 to 1 across all my favorite 2 meter and 440 frequencies. I'm happy.

Very good antenna
I was using a J-Pole antenna for my 2meter and 70cm bands with decent reception and transmission, but I couldn't transmit to all repeaters I was receiving from so I though I would give this antenna a try. It certainly boosted my transmission a great deal. I was also very impressed with how well made this antenna is made. My J-Pole is now my backup antenna.
