Great Shirley Temple doll identification and history !
I am a figurine artist and a creative person and I kept buying old composition Shirley Temple dolls off of ebay because they looked like they needed me to repair them and return them to their original glory. I really like the pitiful ones.
My mother was born in the depression, was poor, and never got one. My original quest was to buy one for her for this Christmas. My quest has blossomed into much more. This book has helped me greatly with repair, coloration, clothing, and doll identification. Now I have more confidence that I am indeed restoring these beautiful antique dolls and not ruining them.
