The metal they used to make the tool is very pliable and would bend while trying to remove a set of hand guards. Plus because I had to grip it so hard the plastic coating rubbed off and I had metal to metal.

Doug Ritter is the man.
The first word that comes to mind is smooth. The action on this knife if silky smooth. Once you push that thumb stud to open the blade, whooooosh and the blade is exposed. Smooth! The scales are hand filling and just the right texturing. The G10 scales feel great in the hand. The blade being M390 is a great steel. I love everyhting about this knife. The deep carry pocket clip. The lock up is great. I'm honestly getting tried of typing the word GREAT. But it's a great knife. So great it made it's way into my personal collection. Way to go Hogue.
