Self charging...not sure about that

This has a self recharging battery that works off your movement; so far it has died every night when I set it on the dresser. It looks cool, but not sure if a charge will last more than half a day.

Decent stand

I think this stand it too light compared to other Pearl models I've had. I play a 14x6.5 snare and it was moving around quite a bit as I was playing it on my drum set. I use this instead for my side snare which is 13x3 and it works much better. It is nice and light-weight though and doesn't add much weight to my packed up gear.
