A must-have for any classic gamer!
Even with the ridiculous usability nightmare that is the N64 controller, Super Smash Brothers is still a joy to play, even decades after its original release. There's still something magical about tossing some controllers to your friends, firing up the console, and engaging in intense multiplayer combat. After what seem like minutes of sweating palms, screaming, and watching in horror as your beloved classic Nintendo character gets their snot beaten out by your friend's chosen characters (or hopefully vice-versa), you will realize that it has been over an hour and you have just experienced a triumph of multiplayer gaming history. This game is still ridiculously fun for players of all ages and from all experience levels. Even players new to gaming should have fun with this one (but I recommend going easy on them while starting out.) Grab yourself a Smash Brothers cartridge when you can, clean the contacts if necessary, and hold on to it forever--it will never go out of style!

Truly one of the best open-world games ever made
4 von 6 finden das hilfreich Zelda: Breath of the Wild may have gotten the most press this year, but Horizon: Zero Dawn is also a fantastic title that should not be overlooked. Guerrilla Games obviously poured a lot of work into this risky new IP, and their hard work certainly paid off. The gameplay (level/enemy design, combat) is not too challenging, but highly entertaining, the game's presentation (graphics, music, and sound) are simply superb, and even the story is engaging; keeping you invested in the well-paced cycle of action and stocking up supplies for the next battle. As someone who has gotten a bit bored with most open world games, I would highly recommend playing Horizon: Zero Dawn.
