Materials are quite low quality
GOOD
* They fit the bike (2020 Rebel)
* They hold odds and ends
* Nice color
* Vinyl means they're water resistant
BAD
* Made of vinyl not leather
* Edges have curled up after sewing
* Straps tore easily
* Buckles are flimsy
CONCLUSION
* Look for the same design and color but in real leather

Solid feel, some poor closures
The materials and workmanship are quite good. I like the design and they feel fairly rugged. They have some heft to them.
Possible Issues:
- The snaps are quite weak and pop open on their own. I'm not sure the snaps they chose are suitable for thick materials as leather and canvas.
- The clasps are a bit awkward to use and they're made of plastic. A metal quick-release would have been a better choice.
I haven't tested these throw-over bags in the rain yet, so can't comment on waterproofing.
