Great little product

A good everyday phone. It's nicely fini...
A good everyday phone. It's nicely finished, works in a straightforward fashion though the Huawei setup could be a bit better, but once you're past that it's fine. The more recent ones have a very nice resolution screen of 2280x1080p which seems to be far crisper than the versions from a few years ago (writing end 2024). It probably could do with a bit more memory and power but I expect you get what you pay for.

Three times as fast
The cheapest upgrade I have ever done on a computer! I bought two of these and have installed one so far. The Pentium D945 is supposed to be about 750 on CPU benchmark and the Pentium 4 3Ghz it replaces scores about 350. In fact, with 4GB of RAM, I am getting about 940 from this chip.
My installation was into a Dell Dimension 5150, and this is as high as it will go. It has resurrected a machine and given it another two or three years of useful life. It's running Windows 10, has a reasonable 256MB video card in it and it won't be put under much strain, usually. The only caveat for Dell users is that this will trigger the fans, which can be a bit noisy. Other machines will be more controllable in that regard - at least I would hope so. I rate this as my buy of the year. Thanks.
